The Lighthouse benches are rated to 500 lbs, but can be reinforced (at no extra charge) to hold extra weight if necessary, without compromising any design features. Just let us know in the "Special Orders & Custom Requests" box in your shopping cart upon checkout.

If you are planning to put your Lighthouse Bench in a moist sauna, spa or shower area, be sure to order it unfinished. (If it is stained with our standard outdoor sealant, the concentrated moisture may cause some leeching of the stain.)

Would you like to add an engraving to your bench? We can add a custom message for only $30. See example to the right, shown on our Mini Foot Stool. Just select the "Custom Engraving" option in the drop-down menu in your shopping cart. The engraving size translates to about 14 characters (letters and spaces) per foot. Lettering is black. We will center the engraving on the top board of the backrest or the seat of a backless bench, unless you specify elsewhere. Please let us know your instructions on placement and line break(s)— if not specified, they will be placed at shop's discretion.
